In a significant scientific and institutional achievement added to its record of academic successes, the Central Laboratory for Scientific and Advisory Research at our university has obtained international ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation from the Iraqi Accreditation System (IQAS) under the Ministry of Planning. This accreditation covers food testing, following the laboratory’s full compliance with all technical and administrative requirements stipulated in this international standard.
This accreditation represents the culmination of sustained and diligent efforts by the university administration and the laboratory’s technical and scientific staff. These efforts included developing the laboratory infrastructure, implementing precise quality management systems, and applying internationally recognized best scientific practices to ensure the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of laboratory results.
Obtaining this certification is a significant milestone, reflecting Alameed University’s commitment to applying international standards of quality and technical competence.
